In this episode, the boys discuss powerful and notable women in the both the canon and legends timeline.

00:00:00 --> 00:00:01 What'd you say? I said, well, I'm stinky. Why
00:00:01 --> 00:00:03 I gotta be stinky? Why you gotta come in and
00:00:03 --> 00:00:06 just choose violence? I have done nothing wrong.
00:00:06 --> 00:00:08 Doubt it. You probably got something you did
00:00:08 --> 00:00:10 today that was wrong. You deserve losses and
00:00:10 --> 00:00:13 trauma. Like, you don't get an excuse. You don't
00:00:13 --> 00:00:15 know what I've gone through. That's crazy. I
00:00:15 --> 00:00:17 know. And I'm telling you, you deserve more trauma.
00:00:17 --> 00:00:19 You have too much of an ego to not have been
00:00:19 --> 00:00:22 traumatized. You need more trauma. You have a
00:00:22 --> 00:00:25 bigger ego than me. I do not. Yes, you do. Maybe
00:00:25 --> 00:00:27 when it comes to Star Wars, I do because I've
00:00:27 --> 00:00:30 read more than you. I don't think I have a bigger
00:00:30 --> 00:00:32 ego so much as I think that I am more educated
00:00:32 --> 00:00:35 on the topic. On what topic? Any of them. In
00:00:35 --> 00:00:37 a general sense, I'm more educated on Star Wars
00:00:37 --> 00:00:39 than you are. You can't even deny that. I mean,
00:00:39 --> 00:00:42 that's pretty egotistical. No, it isn't. It's
00:00:42 --> 00:00:45 literally statistical because I have read over
00:00:45 --> 00:00:49 250 Star Wars books and you have read none. I
00:00:49 --> 00:00:52 read the one. Okay, you read one. 249 to go to
00:00:52 --> 00:00:54 play catch up. Thanks. That's too much work.
00:00:55 --> 00:00:57 Exactly. I've put in the work. I've put in the
00:00:57 --> 00:01:00 time. I'm more educated than you. It's not egotistical.
00:01:00 --> 00:01:02 It's pretty egotistical. You're fighting with
00:01:02 --> 00:01:04 logic here and it ain't working. That's what
00:01:04 --> 00:01:06 you think. That's what I know. You don't know
00:01:06 --> 00:01:09 what my goals are. I don't know. Shut the fuck
00:01:09 --> 00:01:13 up. Where the fuck are these nerds? Oh, God.
00:01:13 --> 00:01:15 Did he go to sleep? He's not even answering.
00:01:15 --> 00:01:17 He's not answering his text. Let me check his
00:01:17 --> 00:01:19 motherfucking location. Where this bitch at?
00:01:19 --> 00:01:21 He's at home. It's like you got all these location
00:01:21 --> 00:01:24 like on speed dial. Does that have an iPhone?
00:01:24 --> 00:01:27 And he also has an iPhone and we share our locations
00:01:27 --> 00:01:29 with each other. That's weird. I'm sorry. You
00:01:29 --> 00:01:32 don't have friends you trust. I don't know what
00:01:32 --> 00:01:34 to say to this one. It seems like a personal
00:01:34 --> 00:02:01 problem. Exactly. Okay, so Exotic's a bitch.
00:02:01 --> 00:02:04 What's up, guys? Welcome to The Force Unscripted.
00:02:05 --> 00:02:08 Today we got another episode for you guys. I
00:02:08 --> 00:02:11 think our topic today is going to be powerful
00:02:11 --> 00:02:14 women in Star Wars. I love strong pussy. I'm
00:02:14 --> 00:02:18 here with my co -hosts, Nikita and Exotic. Yep,
00:02:18 --> 00:02:21 fuck you guys. Because I didn't say anything.
00:02:21 --> 00:02:24 I just said I love strong pussy. I feel like
00:02:24 --> 00:02:26 that's an introduction in itself. is it though
00:02:26 --> 00:02:29 yes anyway uh what's up guys welcome back talking
00:02:29 --> 00:02:31 about strong women in star wars today or powerful
00:02:31 --> 00:02:35 women sorry mara jade skywalker i win it's not
00:02:35 --> 00:02:40 a versus i know i mean i feel like you can't
00:02:40 --> 00:02:42 talk about powerful women in star wars without
00:02:42 --> 00:02:44 mentioning the queen of the legends timeline
00:02:44 --> 00:02:47 mara jade skywalker i love her i mean so did
00:02:47 --> 00:02:50 luke does that make me luke skywalker oh shit
00:02:50 --> 00:02:53 i do love chocolate or hot chocolate do you fuck
00:02:53 --> 00:02:55 robots i'd fuck a robot yes okay then yeah i'm
00:02:55 --> 00:02:59 it's pretty close with minor hesitation but definite
00:02:59 --> 00:03:02 curiosity i mean well because like you know in
00:03:02 --> 00:03:04 that fuck marry kill where i was talking about
00:03:04 --> 00:03:07 palpatine like i wanted him to like electro for
00:03:07 --> 00:03:10 shock my nuts and i feel like the closest i can
00:03:10 --> 00:03:12 get to that without him is a fucking computer
00:03:12 --> 00:03:15 making electro shock my nuts i mean r2 has that
00:03:15 --> 00:03:18 little hand that comes out of so you know yeah
00:03:18 --> 00:03:19 but you don't know where that data port's been
00:03:19 --> 00:03:21 i don't have to i mean if that's all you're going
00:03:21 --> 00:03:23 for i mean somebody with a pair of socks on could
00:03:23 --> 00:03:26 just like go over some carpet and then just static
00:03:26 --> 00:03:28 shock you i'm not opposed to this either In fact,
00:03:28 --> 00:03:29 I welcome it. Which one of you is willing to
00:03:29 --> 00:03:32 put on the fuzzy socks? No. See? I'll put on
00:03:32 --> 00:03:34 fuzzy socks. I ain't touching your ass, though.
00:03:34 --> 00:03:36 You don't have to touch me. You just got to get
00:03:36 --> 00:03:37 really close, but you don't have to touch me.
00:03:38 --> 00:03:41 You got to hover around my... This is about powerful
00:03:41 --> 00:03:42 women. Why are we talking about my balls? I mean,
00:03:42 --> 00:03:46 it was your tangent. Was it? Or did you guys
00:03:46 --> 00:03:49 just fuel it? All of the above. I mean, Marge
00:03:49 --> 00:03:52 is a super dope character. There's whole tons
00:03:52 --> 00:03:55 of lore about her. We know from our Versus episode
00:03:55 --> 00:03:59 that she was originally an Imperial spy. She
00:03:59 --> 00:04:02 was a... I'm so tired. What's the word when somebody's
00:04:02 --> 00:04:05 infiltrating an organization? Stealth op? Was
00:04:05 --> 00:04:08 she stealthy? It's got two in the name. It's
00:04:08 --> 00:04:10 like two... I don't know. Two -face? Whatever
00:04:10 --> 00:04:13 it is. I don't know. Anyway, yeah, so we know
00:04:13 --> 00:04:15 she was hiding out with the rebels, trying to
00:04:15 --> 00:04:19 be a spy. palpatine and then there was a i forget
00:04:19 --> 00:04:21 the exact scene but essentially they were flying
00:04:21 --> 00:04:25 a x -wing op right and uh they get into combat
00:04:25 --> 00:04:27 and it gets so crazy that luke decides to rely
00:04:27 --> 00:04:30 on the force to guide like what targets he's
00:04:30 --> 00:04:33 shooting down and mara is giving off bad guy
00:04:33 --> 00:04:36 vibes and so he shoots her down She manages to
00:04:36 --> 00:04:39 survive that. And later on, they get married.
00:04:39 --> 00:04:42 So I mean, sounds like a Southern style relationship
00:04:42 --> 00:04:45 to me. I love the enemies to lovers trope. I'm
00:04:45 --> 00:04:47 sure there's plenty of people who have shot somebody
00:04:47 --> 00:04:49 and then ended up marrying them. There's got
00:04:49 --> 00:04:52 to be at least like a handful. And like you said,
00:04:52 --> 00:04:54 I mean, I'm pretty sure that that's definitely
00:04:54 --> 00:04:57 like a Southern love story. Like I feel like
00:04:57 --> 00:04:59 if you were to Google that and put Texas at the
00:04:59 --> 00:05:01 end of it, you would find very detailed like
00:05:01 --> 00:05:04 accounts of the same situation. Yeah, because
00:05:04 --> 00:05:08 it's Texas. wish i was back in texas super cool
00:05:08 --> 00:05:11 um she ended up i mean she did a whole lot she
00:05:11 --> 00:05:14 was the mom to to ben skywalker not been solo
00:05:14 --> 00:05:18 been skywalker talking legends here and uh she
00:05:18 --> 00:05:21 ended up getting killed by her nephew darth cadis
00:05:21 --> 00:05:24 poison of all things like she didn't lose a fight
00:05:24 --> 00:05:28 she got poisoned i will never not be mad about
00:05:28 --> 00:05:30 that i mean he was too much of a bitch to do
00:05:30 --> 00:05:32 the job himself obviously leia is always a contender
00:05:32 --> 00:05:34 for powerful women in star wars oh yeah absolutely
00:05:34 --> 00:05:37 i think she's a solid number two especially in
00:05:37 --> 00:05:39 the like the legends timeline i don't know too
00:05:39 --> 00:05:41 much about her lore and canon but like i mean
00:05:41 --> 00:05:44 she's trained by my favorite character to knighthood
00:05:45 --> 00:05:48 and i mean she just she runs around the galaxy
00:05:48 --> 00:05:51 for the greater part of four decades just trying
00:05:51 --> 00:05:53 to fix shit that's broken that's not even her
00:05:53 --> 00:05:55 fault but she feels responsible yeah because
00:05:55 --> 00:05:58 it was her dad's fault okay like maybe for the
00:05:58 --> 00:06:01 first decade after that it was just shit going
00:06:01 --> 00:06:03 off the walls because fledgling government being
00:06:03 --> 00:06:06 attacked by other shit outside of the galaxy
00:06:06 --> 00:06:10 apparently i haven't read the the new books but
00:06:10 --> 00:06:13 apparently she got ousted as like vader's daughter
00:06:13 --> 00:06:16 in one of the newer books and it was like a heavy
00:06:16 --> 00:06:18 betrayal kind of thing because like the person
00:06:18 --> 00:06:20 who ousted her was a really close friend of hers
00:06:20 --> 00:06:24 oh shit yeah he like got some classified or secret
00:06:24 --> 00:06:26 you know he found some documents and then ousted
00:06:26 --> 00:06:28 her basically in front of like the entire senate
00:06:28 --> 00:06:30 when she was running for like chancellor or whatever
00:06:30 --> 00:06:33 that's crazy there's there's a couple of mentions
00:06:33 --> 00:06:35 of it Like in Legends, like the most notable
00:06:35 --> 00:06:39 one is with the Nogri, like because they loved
00:06:39 --> 00:06:41 Vader so much, even though he was basically stripping
00:06:41 --> 00:06:43 their planet and forcing them into indentured
00:06:43 --> 00:06:46 servitude, aka slavery with extra steps. And
00:06:46 --> 00:06:49 they still loved her because they knew she was
00:06:49 --> 00:06:51 the daughter of Vader. And then, like, she has
00:06:51 --> 00:06:53 this weird moment in The Truce of Bakura where,
00:06:54 --> 00:06:56 like, Anakin appears to her as a force ghost
00:06:56 --> 00:06:58 and she's basically, like, pissed off and, like,
00:06:58 --> 00:07:00 fuck off to the ghost. And the ghost never really
00:07:00 --> 00:07:03 comes back, but she does reconcile mentally with
00:07:03 --> 00:07:06 him. But damn. Snitches get stitches. Does the
00:07:06 --> 00:07:08 guy who revealed her get got? I don't know. I
00:07:08 --> 00:07:11 didn't get that far in the spoilers because I
00:07:11 --> 00:07:13 didn't want to spoil the whole thing for myself,
00:07:13 --> 00:07:16 you know? I just saw Reddit posts with a screenshot
00:07:16 --> 00:07:18 of the page or a picture of the page. I was like,
00:07:18 --> 00:07:20 oh, shit. Well, he deserves to get God. We got,
00:07:20 --> 00:07:23 like, so there's Leia. I mean, Padme's a good
00:07:23 --> 00:07:25 contender, right? She tried. I think she was
00:07:25 --> 00:07:27 very powerful. My favorite female character that
00:07:27 --> 00:07:30 is pretty strong is Shay Vizsla from The Old
00:07:30 --> 00:07:32 Republic. Hey, we managed to bring Mandos into
00:07:32 --> 00:07:35 this. I mean, you can't talk about powerful women
00:07:35 --> 00:07:37 without talking about Mandos, like Bo -Katan.
00:07:38 --> 00:07:40 Yeah, but I mean, it wasn't me that started it,
00:07:40 --> 00:07:43 so I'm happy. You know, it's fair. Sabine also.
00:07:43 --> 00:07:46 I think Sabine is a powerful woman. Yeah, and
00:07:46 --> 00:07:48 I mean, I'm excited for Ahsoka season two to
00:07:48 --> 00:07:52 see where or how she grows. Yeah, I think. She
00:07:52 --> 00:07:54 needs to be fleshed out a little bit more. She
00:07:54 --> 00:07:56 got the perfect backdrop for it. For real. Stuck
00:07:56 --> 00:07:58 on a, stranded on another planet with like one
00:07:58 --> 00:08:01 of the best. jedi possible to train somebody
00:08:01 --> 00:08:04 whose entire way of life was you know militant
00:08:04 --> 00:08:07 because ahsoka was trained and entirely during
00:08:07 --> 00:08:10 the clone wars child soldier like she yeah she
00:08:10 --> 00:08:13 knows they're both child soldiers i mean i feel
00:08:13 --> 00:08:15 like that's a perfect partner somebody who's
00:08:15 --> 00:08:18 found peace you know been able to let go of their
00:08:18 --> 00:08:20 maybe not all of their aggressive tendencies
00:08:20 --> 00:08:23 but you know been able to find peace grow in
00:08:23 --> 00:08:26 the force become basically a gray jedi i feel
00:08:26 --> 00:08:28 like that's a perfect teacher for sabine and
00:08:28 --> 00:08:30 i did love that it wasn't just like... Sabine
00:08:30 --> 00:08:33 immediately picks up on stuff and you know they
00:08:33 --> 00:08:36 they move on happily it was like Ahsoka wasn't
00:08:36 --> 00:08:39 sure about teaching her eventually like gave
00:08:39 --> 00:08:41 in started to teach her Sabine rebelled because
00:08:41 --> 00:08:44 she didn't like all the don't do this don't do
00:08:44 --> 00:08:46 that which I mean I'm sure Ahsoka had plenty
00:08:46 --> 00:08:50 of PTSD with Anakin right and then even though
00:08:50 --> 00:08:53 Sabine is basically a neophyte in the force right
00:08:53 --> 00:08:55 she really had no I'm gonna go with midichlorian
00:08:55 --> 00:08:57 count because I don't actually know her midichlorian
00:08:57 --> 00:08:59 count and I can't think of the word right now
00:08:59 --> 00:09:00 that I'm trying trying to think of but like sabine
00:09:00 --> 00:09:03 was just a regular ass force sensitivity sure
00:09:03 --> 00:09:06 but like the soca shows showed us that everybody
00:09:06 --> 00:09:09 is connected to the force no matter how small
00:09:09 --> 00:09:12 their midichlorian count and everybody can learn
00:09:12 --> 00:09:15 to channel the force it just takes practice and
00:09:15 --> 00:09:18 a good teacher and like finding your center of
00:09:18 --> 00:09:20 balance kind of thing okay so my only my only
00:09:20 --> 00:09:23 counter to that is that One, we've known that
00:09:23 --> 00:09:26 well before Ahsoka, that the Force is connected
00:09:26 --> 00:09:29 to everything. But I don't think Ahsoka was trying
00:09:29 --> 00:09:31 to... I don't think Ahsoka was saying that, like,
00:09:31 --> 00:09:34 with enough hard work and practice, anyone can
00:09:34 --> 00:09:37 use the Force, though. I mean, I'm pretty sure
00:09:37 --> 00:09:39 that's the exact quote almost that she says.
00:09:39 --> 00:09:42 It's not. It's not true, though. She may have
00:09:42 --> 00:09:44 said it in the show, but that is just not. That
00:09:44 --> 00:09:46 has been shown many times, like not only just
00:09:46 --> 00:09:49 in the Legends timeline. It's been shown in the
00:09:49 --> 00:09:51 Canon timeline in the books, too. Yeah. OK. But
00:09:51 --> 00:09:53 I mean, most people aren't reading the books,
00:09:53 --> 00:09:56 right? They're watching the media. That's true.
00:09:56 --> 00:09:57 But I don't think even the media was trying to
00:09:57 --> 00:10:00 say that. I think Sabine is a special case. I
00:10:00 --> 00:10:02 don't think it was saying that anyone. can learn
00:10:02 --> 00:10:05 i'm gonna find the quote i wish brick 3po is
00:10:05 --> 00:10:07 here but i'm pretty sure the quote is basically
00:10:07 --> 00:10:09 like when sabine is like i can't do this i have
00:10:09 --> 00:10:11 no connection or whatever and ahsoka literally
00:10:11 --> 00:10:13 says like everyone is connected to the force
00:10:13 --> 00:10:16 and can learn to do this kind of stuff i'm pretty
00:10:16 --> 00:10:19 sure that's essentially what she says i think
00:10:19 --> 00:10:21 everyone's connected through the force and the
00:10:21 --> 00:10:23 force can be channeled through any person but
00:10:23 --> 00:10:25 i don't think that any person can actively manipulate
00:10:25 --> 00:10:28 the force i'm pretty sure the uh that one blind
00:10:28 --> 00:10:30 motherfucker with the stick in rogue one he was
00:10:30 --> 00:10:33 a guardian of wills though well i'm pretty sure
00:10:33 --> 00:10:37 he elaborated that as well not that no yeah never
00:10:37 --> 00:10:40 okay go ahead insert brick 3po beep boop boop
00:10:40 --> 00:10:43 the force resides in all living things even you
00:10:43 --> 00:10:46 and sabine asks her why everyone doesn't train
00:10:46 --> 00:10:49 as a jedi if it's true and ahsoka says talent
00:10:49 --> 00:10:51 is a factor but training and focus are what truly
00:10:51 --> 00:10:54 defines someone's success yeah but like you have
00:10:54 --> 00:10:58 to have anybody no yes but what i'm saying she's
00:10:58 --> 00:11:01 saying talent is a factor sure because it influences
00:11:01 --> 00:11:03 how quickly somebody can pick things up right
00:11:03 --> 00:11:06 but she's saying with training and focus anyone
00:11:06 --> 00:11:09 can be successful in harnessing the force not
00:11:09 --> 00:11:11 saying everyone will be again because it takes
00:11:11 --> 00:11:13 training and focus and you don't know how to
00:11:13 --> 00:11:14 train if you don't even know what the fucking
00:11:14 --> 00:11:16 force is right so like you're not just going
00:11:16 --> 00:11:19 to see jedi popping up all over the place but
00:11:19 --> 00:11:22 it did show that like even the least talented,
00:11:22 --> 00:11:25 which is basically the general populace, can
00:11:25 --> 00:11:28 learn to harness the force. I think that that's
00:11:28 --> 00:11:31 talking about anyone who is trying to harness
00:11:31 --> 00:11:33 the force. And the common layperson is not trying
00:11:33 --> 00:11:36 to harness the force. But I don't think that
00:11:36 --> 00:11:40 the common layperson also has the affinity. talent
00:11:40 --> 00:11:43 withstanding to manipulate the force. That doesn't
00:11:43 --> 00:11:46 seem right. We're saying the same thing. I'm
00:11:46 --> 00:11:49 saying the general populace is not going to have
00:11:49 --> 00:11:51 the knowledge or the connection to the force
00:11:51 --> 00:11:54 or a teacher, that kind of stuff. So no, they're
00:11:54 --> 00:11:55 probably not ever going to leverage But I'm saying
00:11:55 --> 00:11:57 even if they did, they couldn't. I think this
00:11:57 --> 00:11:59 quote is saying that they potentially could.
00:11:59 --> 00:12:01 I'm saying this quote could be wrong, and it's
00:12:01 --> 00:12:03 probably very likely to be wrong. That doesn't
00:12:03 --> 00:12:05 sound right. That goes against everything we've
00:12:05 --> 00:12:07 ever been told about the Jedi. Like, why would
00:12:07 --> 00:12:10 there be Jedi? Because there are initiates who
00:12:10 --> 00:12:14 are gathered and fail their Padawan trials and
00:12:14 --> 00:12:16 get sent to the Agricultural Corps because of
00:12:16 --> 00:12:18 their weak tendency. That's like, they have all
00:12:18 --> 00:12:21 the resources, and they can still only just manipulate
00:12:21 --> 00:12:25 the force to grow plants, but even still, they
00:12:25 --> 00:12:27 pass a certain... inspection when they were picked
00:12:27 --> 00:12:30 up as a baby. Because of midichlorian count.
00:12:30 --> 00:12:34 Yes. Yes, okay, and that's fine. They had the
00:12:34 --> 00:12:38 midichlorian count to potentially be a good candidate
00:12:38 --> 00:12:41 to train from a child into being a Jedi, right?
00:12:41 --> 00:12:44 But that doesn't mean, like, they could've, literally,
00:12:44 --> 00:12:45 the Jedi could've picked up every kid off the
00:12:45 --> 00:12:47 street. It would've taken a lot of fucking work,
00:12:47 --> 00:12:49 and it would've been really hard, but they probably
00:12:49 --> 00:12:51 could've trained up a bunch of Agcor people.
00:12:51 --> 00:12:53 I'm saying, yes, midichlorian count is a factor.
00:12:54 --> 00:12:55 I disagree. Talent is a factor. You're not gonna
00:12:55 --> 00:12:57 just pull a random kid off the street, and all
00:12:57 --> 00:12:59 of a sudden you got another Anakin Skywalker,
00:12:59 --> 00:13:01 but you might have another - you know, Etain,
00:13:02 --> 00:13:04 right? Like, she was Agcor. No, she wasn't. She
00:13:04 --> 00:13:07 was around that, like, power level. Yes, but
00:13:07 --> 00:13:10 she wasn't Agcor, though. Whatever. There's the
00:13:10 --> 00:13:14 first name that popped in my head. Okay. i don't
00:13:14 --> 00:13:15 know i'll agree to disagree i don't think that
00:13:15 --> 00:13:19 i i don't i don't i think if it is saying that
00:13:19 --> 00:13:21 it's wrong we can agree to disagree on that but
00:13:21 --> 00:13:24 like a lot of a lot of content about star wars
00:13:24 --> 00:13:26 has told us that that is not the case there are
00:13:26 --> 00:13:29 plenty of examples of like people who want to
00:13:29 --> 00:13:31 be a jedi who have absolutely no propensity for
00:13:31 --> 00:13:34 the force no matter what they do to train can't
00:13:34 --> 00:13:37 can't grasp it they're just not able to i mean
00:13:37 --> 00:13:40 that makes that's true for anything anybody in
00:13:40 --> 00:13:43 even the regular world picks up right like you
00:13:43 --> 00:13:45 know your fingers might not be dexterous enough
00:13:45 --> 00:13:47 to be a pro gamer but like you can still game
00:13:47 --> 00:13:49 you're not going to get to the pro level you
00:13:49 --> 00:13:53 might just play casually at home anyways so talking
00:13:53 --> 00:13:57 about powerful women uh if we're gonna talk about
00:13:57 --> 00:14:00 darth zanna love that hold on hold on bitch let
00:14:00 --> 00:14:03 me let me get one in you've been fucking monologuing
00:14:03 --> 00:14:06 didn't fucking do the intro so now i gotta fucking
00:14:06 --> 00:14:08 like lead this bullshit you know i'm just on
00:14:08 --> 00:14:11 my shit okay all right well i'll let you take
00:14:11 --> 00:14:13 over then fuck me no no please go ahead um i
00:14:13 --> 00:14:16 was gonna say since we're staying on like rebels
00:14:16 --> 00:14:19 and ahsoka i think harrison doula doesn't get
00:14:19 --> 00:14:20 enough credit i mean she watched kane and get
00:14:20 --> 00:14:23 fucking literally blasted to oblivion and continues
00:14:23 --> 00:14:26 to go and serve the rebellion and stuff i think
00:14:26 --> 00:14:29 that that is in a testament to itself like just
00:14:29 --> 00:14:32 her being a powerful woman I absolutely agree.
00:14:32 --> 00:14:36 Hera is a very powerful character in Star Wars.
00:14:36 --> 00:14:38 And I mean, an iconic character. Like, a lot
00:14:38 --> 00:14:41 of people only watched Ahsoka because Hera was
00:14:41 --> 00:14:43 going to be in it live action. They just want
00:14:43 --> 00:14:44 to see the ass. Shut up. That has nothing to
00:14:44 --> 00:14:46 do with her being a powerful woman. That has
00:14:46 --> 00:14:49 to do with her having a powerful ass. You see
00:14:49 --> 00:14:51 you said powerful there? So, like, it still applies.
00:14:51 --> 00:14:53 You know what? I won't argue that one because
00:14:53 --> 00:14:56 I love powerful ass. i mean here is super dope
00:14:56 --> 00:15:00 a general in the the resistance or well the new
00:15:00 --> 00:15:02 republic i guess i mean she was a general in
00:15:02 --> 00:15:05 the the rebel alliance too right or uh yes i'm
00:15:05 --> 00:15:08 pretty sure yeah i mean so she was part of what
00:15:08 --> 00:15:10 took down palpatine i mean that's pretty badass
00:15:10 --> 00:15:14 she shows up in the uh in ghost at uh the end
00:15:14 --> 00:15:18 of episode nine oh yeah i saw yeah yeah yeah
00:15:18 --> 00:15:20 yeah she was there at uh whatever that fucking
00:15:20 --> 00:15:23 planet's called more exegol exegol thank you
00:15:23 --> 00:15:25 jesus so she was there at exegol like she was
00:15:25 --> 00:15:28 there basically from the inception of the rebellion
00:15:28 --> 00:15:31 all the way through till when they killed palpatine
00:15:31 --> 00:15:33 for the second fucking time i also think that
00:15:33 --> 00:15:35 like i know i i don't i didn't really like her
00:15:35 --> 00:15:39 but i think dedra from andor deserves mention
00:15:39 --> 00:15:42 too because like there's the whole scene in when
00:15:42 --> 00:15:44 they're like in the isb headquarters where like
00:15:44 --> 00:15:47 she's arguing with the the other i forget what
00:15:47 --> 00:15:49 position they held but like the other dude who's
00:15:49 --> 00:15:51 like you need to steady the ladder before you
00:15:51 --> 00:15:52 try to climb it when she's just trying to do
00:15:52 --> 00:15:55 her job and granted she was definitely overstepping
00:15:55 --> 00:15:57 her reach in a lot of situations which is why
00:15:57 --> 00:16:00 she ended up the way she did but I still think
00:16:00 --> 00:16:03 she exude exuded power. I mean, she was definitely
00:16:03 --> 00:16:05 fucking Cyril with a strap. I'm still I'm convinced
00:16:05 --> 00:16:07 on that one. I am going to give you that one
00:16:07 --> 00:16:09 because why else did she want the lights off,
00:16:09 --> 00:16:14 man? So what about the way the way she took down
00:16:14 --> 00:16:18 Cyril's mom? Oh, what a fucking read. That was
00:16:18 --> 00:16:21 that was so good. Yeah. I mean, to work with
00:16:21 --> 00:16:24 Saw, like, you gotta have some grit. Yeah. And
00:16:24 --> 00:16:27 I mean, Saw only kicked her out of his group
00:16:27 --> 00:16:29 because she was too good, and people were starting
00:16:29 --> 00:16:31 to ask questions about her relationship to Galen,
00:16:31 --> 00:16:33 right? I mean, that's what he said in the movie.
00:16:33 --> 00:16:36 If she was so good at, like, what, 16 or 17,
00:16:36 --> 00:16:39 that she was one of his best ops? Like, that's
00:16:39 --> 00:16:42 fucking some good shit for, you know, working
00:16:42 --> 00:16:45 with Saw. I mean, he is huffing like Rido, but
00:16:45 --> 00:16:47 like... I mean, she's like one of the only reasons
00:16:47 --> 00:16:50 that they were even able to get the Death Star
00:16:50 --> 00:16:52 plans. I think she's basically the only reason
00:16:52 --> 00:16:54 they were able to get the Death Star plans. Yeah,
00:16:54 --> 00:16:55 because how else would they have known Stardust
00:16:55 --> 00:16:57 was the name? They wouldn't have known Stardust.
00:16:57 --> 00:16:59 They wouldn't have even gotten in the door with
00:16:59 --> 00:17:01 Saw, right? Yeah. They wouldn't have had the
00:17:01 --> 00:17:04 big old speech where she's like... You got to
00:17:04 --> 00:17:06 fucking stand up and do something instead of
00:17:06 --> 00:17:08 laying down and dying. And then Cassian and crew
00:17:08 --> 00:17:10 would never have gone to go get those plans.
00:17:11 --> 00:17:13 I mean, maybe they would have. I mean, it's Cassian,
00:17:13 --> 00:17:16 right? But like, she kind of was the instigator
00:17:16 --> 00:17:19 for that whole lot of mini Bothans died to get
00:17:19 --> 00:17:21 us these plans. One of the few things that doesn't
00:17:21 --> 00:17:23 actually make sense. What Bothans? There's always
00:17:23 --> 00:17:26 Bothan spies, bro. I know. But it's just funny
00:17:26 --> 00:17:29 because there were no Bothans in Rogue One. I'm
00:17:29 --> 00:17:31 pretty sure it was revealed. I can't remember
00:17:31 --> 00:17:33 if this was Legends or Canon, though, because
00:17:33 --> 00:17:34 now it's starting to melt together. But it was
00:17:34 --> 00:17:36 revealed that the Bothans didn't actually do
00:17:36 --> 00:17:38 anything. They just took credit to pull pressure.
00:17:39 --> 00:17:41 I mean, I don't think that really matters if
00:17:41 --> 00:17:44 it's EU or Canon because it feels like something
00:17:44 --> 00:17:46 they would do. You know, it really does. Yeah,
00:17:46 --> 00:17:49 Jyn Erso was a really good character. Mon Mothma?
00:17:49 --> 00:17:51 I mean, her whole, you know, character development
00:17:51 --> 00:17:54 arc was pretty powerful. The shit that she had
00:17:54 --> 00:17:57 to do to keep the Rebellion alive, to fund the
00:17:57 --> 00:18:00 Rebellion, secretly hiding in the Senate, basically
00:18:00 --> 00:18:04 imploded her entire life for the cause. The raves
00:18:04 --> 00:18:06 she went into? Say again? So the raves she went
00:18:06 --> 00:18:09 into? Yes, I mean, sometimes you gotta rave to
00:18:09 --> 00:18:13 save the galaxy. We love gay space rave. That
00:18:13 --> 00:18:15 was some dope -ass music in Star Wars. It was.
00:18:15 --> 00:18:18 It really was. Mon Mothma kind of earned my respect
00:18:18 --> 00:18:22 in the Legends timeline, especially. Because
00:18:22 --> 00:18:24 there's a there's like a party on Coruscant and
00:18:24 --> 00:18:27 some imperial governor throws like splashes a
00:18:27 --> 00:18:30 drink in her face. And the drink is lined with
00:18:30 --> 00:18:32 like this microtoxin that ends up making her
00:18:32 --> 00:18:33 like taking her out of commission for the greater
00:18:33 --> 00:18:35 part of a year. And like she's basically on her
00:18:35 --> 00:18:38 deathbed and like wills herself to get better
00:18:38 --> 00:18:40 and continue presiding as like, you know, the
00:18:40 --> 00:18:42 it wasn't Supreme Chancellor. I forget what the
00:18:42 --> 00:18:45 position was. The head of state, the chief of
00:18:45 --> 00:18:46 state for the New Republic. That's what it was.
00:18:46 --> 00:18:49 And so I she earned my respect because she took
00:18:49 --> 00:18:51 the splash of no, no. No one could throw a drink
00:18:51 --> 00:18:53 at my face and I'm not beating their ass. But
00:18:53 --> 00:18:56 she stood there, held her composure, like, got
00:18:56 --> 00:18:58 cleaned up and, like, proceeded as normal. Then
00:18:58 --> 00:19:00 they found out about the microtoxin and she still
00:19:00 --> 00:19:02 fucking pulled through. Love Mon Mothma. We got
00:19:02 --> 00:19:06 my favorite Jedi, Satele Shan, second female
00:19:06 --> 00:19:09 Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. Fucking, with
00:19:09 --> 00:19:11 her fucking lineage, she was one of the strongest
00:19:11 --> 00:19:14 of her time. You gotta be the... Bring back fucking
00:19:14 --> 00:19:16 Revan, right? Satele didn't bring back Revan.
00:19:16 --> 00:19:19 Oh, that was Bastilla, huh? Yeah, that's her
00:19:19 --> 00:19:21 grandmother. Or her great -grandmother? Or was
00:19:21 --> 00:19:23 it grandmother? I think it was grandmother. But
00:19:23 --> 00:19:25 I mean, she had like a very deep understanding
00:19:25 --> 00:19:28 of both light and dark and still a badass during
00:19:28 --> 00:19:30 the Old Republic. My favorite little piece of
00:19:30 --> 00:19:32 lore about Satele Shan is that she fucked one
00:19:32 --> 00:19:35 of the Republic commando generals and had a son
00:19:35 --> 00:19:38 who was basically like a smuggler. A really good
00:19:38 --> 00:19:40 fucking smuggler. There's a whole book about
00:19:40 --> 00:19:43 it in Legends. She had a love child. she fucked
00:19:43 --> 00:19:46 uh jace malcolm i think it was yup yup she had
00:19:46 --> 00:19:49 a love child They were caught on Alderaan. That's
00:19:49 --> 00:19:52 where it happened. We got, like, Darth Zanna.
00:19:52 --> 00:19:55 Love Darth Zanna. Badass. Took down Bane. I mean,
00:19:55 --> 00:19:57 you gotta be powerful to take down Bane. Okay,
00:19:57 --> 00:20:00 to be fair, Bane exploded. On purpose. He took
00:20:00 --> 00:20:02 himself down. His own lightning was what fucking
00:20:02 --> 00:20:05 killed him. But, like, his mental, you know,
00:20:05 --> 00:20:08 like, will was plenty strong enough to try and,
00:20:08 --> 00:20:11 you know, body snatch her, right? And Zanna won.
00:20:12 --> 00:20:14 I mean, without her, the rule of two doesn't
00:20:14 --> 00:20:17 proliferate, right? Correct. Yeah. I mean, Bane
00:20:17 --> 00:20:20 was like, well, maybe I will just live forever.
00:20:20 --> 00:20:23 Fuck the rule of two. And Xana said, nah, I'll
00:20:23 --> 00:20:26 take a little bit of Parkinson's to get rid of
00:20:26 --> 00:20:29 your ass. Shake your hands, baby. Okay, I got
00:20:29 --> 00:20:33 a controversial one. I might get some hate from
00:20:33 --> 00:20:36 exotic. Maybe even you, honestly. But I think
00:20:36 --> 00:20:39 Rey Skywalker deserves to be in this talk. I
00:20:39 --> 00:20:42 mean, yes, she's a powerful woman in Star Wars.
00:20:42 --> 00:20:45 And I mean, no hate. Rey was a powerful Jedi.
00:20:46 --> 00:20:50 Oh, here we go. Full hate. Oh, man. I don't know.
00:20:50 --> 00:20:52 Close your mouth before I stuff your mic in it.
00:20:52 --> 00:20:55 I don't like the character. I mean, that's fine,
00:20:55 --> 00:20:58 but you can't deny that she was a powerful woman
00:20:58 --> 00:21:00 in Star Wars. He surely fucking can, and he will.
00:21:01 --> 00:21:05 I mean, she defeated Palpatine. It's like facts.
00:21:05 --> 00:21:08 It's empirical evidence. Only because she got
00:21:08 --> 00:21:11 the fucking power of the other Jedi. Okay. Using
00:21:11 --> 00:21:14 the force. They're part of the force. Yeah, literally,
00:21:14 --> 00:21:16 that's part of the force, man. I don't know.
00:21:16 --> 00:21:19 She is all the Jedi. I mean, Palpatine is the
00:21:19 --> 00:21:21 culmination of... Like, over a thousand years
00:21:21 --> 00:21:24 of the Rule of Two, right? He's the most powerful
00:21:24 --> 00:21:27 Sith, basically, that we see. I don't know. Like,
00:21:27 --> 00:21:30 Nihilus wasn't... Nihilus could just eat people's,
00:21:30 --> 00:21:32 like, life force, right? He wasn't really...
00:21:32 --> 00:21:34 The only person close to Palpatine is Valkorion,
00:21:34 --> 00:21:37 in my opinion. Yeah, I think Valkorion is stronger
00:21:37 --> 00:21:40 than Palpatine. Probably. Honestly. I'm very
00:21:40 --> 00:21:42 tired. Was Valkorion before or after Rule of
00:21:42 --> 00:21:45 Two? Before. Way before. Yeah, so, I mean...
00:21:45 --> 00:21:48 Yeah, that's valid, because we're talking Rule
00:21:48 --> 00:21:50 of Two here. We're not talking... individual
00:21:50 --> 00:21:53 Sith, right? So yeah, I'm sure he could have
00:21:53 --> 00:21:56 been. I mean, we also can't have this conversation
00:21:56 --> 00:21:59 without mentioning Abeloth. Is a force entity
00:21:59 --> 00:22:04 a woman? She was a woman before she drank from
00:22:04 --> 00:22:06 that fountain. But she wasn't Aboloth before
00:22:06 --> 00:22:09 that. I guess she was. Isn't she still considered
00:22:09 --> 00:22:13 the mother, though? Yes. Yeah. I feel like this
00:22:13 --> 00:22:16 falls in the they -them category. That's a powerful
00:22:16 --> 00:22:21 non -binary person. Non -binary entity. But she
00:22:21 --> 00:22:24 was originally just a regular -ass woman. That's
00:22:24 --> 00:22:27 true. She was basically just the maid. Yeah,
00:22:28 --> 00:22:30 so is the maid powerful, though? She was. She
00:22:30 --> 00:22:32 was a regular -ass woman. The maid? We're talking
00:22:32 --> 00:22:34 about throughout time. Yeah, but she's no longer
00:22:34 --> 00:22:39 a woman at that point. Okay. Okay. And? You could
00:22:39 --> 00:22:42 justify that she's maybe akin to a goddess, but
00:22:42 --> 00:22:45 I feel like a goddess implies that they are powerful.
00:22:45 --> 00:22:48 Well, okay. I guess she is a powerful woman.
00:22:48 --> 00:22:50 I didn't argue myself in a circle. Thank you.
00:22:50 --> 00:22:52 I'm glad you brought yourself full circle here.
00:22:52 --> 00:22:54 If you talk about Abel, I think you can talk
00:22:54 --> 00:22:57 about the daughter. True. Absolutely. The daughter
00:22:57 --> 00:22:59 was pretty strong, and now it's Ahsoka now, pretty
00:22:59 --> 00:23:02 much. Did we even say Ahsoka? I feel like we're
00:23:02 --> 00:23:06 getting there. We talked about her in tangent
00:23:06 --> 00:23:08 when we talked about Sabine, but we haven't actually
00:23:08 --> 00:23:11 talked about Ahsoka. But I mean, she's Anakin
00:23:11 --> 00:23:14 Skywalker's apprentice, or Padawan. I feel like
00:23:14 --> 00:23:18 outside of the gnolls, I guess in most of the
00:23:18 --> 00:23:20 clones, she's the best child soldier. She's the
00:23:20 --> 00:23:23 best non -genetically modified child soldier.
00:23:23 --> 00:23:25 I mean... That was pretty good. Yeah, but he
00:23:25 --> 00:23:27 was genetically... Oh, he wasn't. He wasn't.
00:23:28 --> 00:23:30 You're right. But then Disney decided to make
00:23:30 --> 00:23:32 him washed. Boba was all natural. Just the clone
00:23:32 --> 00:23:36 part. Is Boba Fett a powerful woman? I mean,
00:23:36 --> 00:23:39 Omega is. That's true. She's modified, no? No.
00:23:39 --> 00:23:42 Well, I mean, does changing the gender modify
00:23:42 --> 00:23:45 it? Yeah. Yeah, kind of. I mean, but it wasn't
00:23:45 --> 00:23:48 like genetically enhanced like Hunter and Wrecker
00:23:48 --> 00:23:50 and them were, right? No, she wasn't enhanced.
00:23:50 --> 00:23:55 She was just female Boba. exactly yes boba is
00:23:55 --> 00:23:58 django we we can't forget asajj oh absolutely
00:23:58 --> 00:24:01 ventress is a badass i still say nothing tops
00:24:01 --> 00:24:04 ventress from the micro series that is the best
00:24:04 --> 00:24:07 iteration of interest oh my god until they make
00:24:07 --> 00:24:10 like her standalone film or series like they
00:24:10 --> 00:24:12 need to do that shit if i can just if i can pull
00:24:12 --> 00:24:15 quinlan voss out of legends and just Well, I
00:24:15 --> 00:24:16 mean... Quinlan Vos wasn't in Legends, I don't
00:24:16 --> 00:24:18 think. Was he? I don't remember him. There's
00:24:18 --> 00:24:21 books with him, you know? I don't think so. I
00:24:21 --> 00:24:23 know there's a canon book with him. There's a
00:24:23 --> 00:24:24 canon? I thought it was a Legends book. Yeah,
00:24:24 --> 00:24:26 it's the... It's like Ventress and Quinlan Vos?
00:24:26 --> 00:24:30 Yeah, it's something of darkness, I think. I
00:24:30 --> 00:24:32 have it. Hold on. I'm pretty sure he was in both.
00:24:33 --> 00:24:35 Because for the five minutes that Quinlan Vos
00:24:35 --> 00:24:37 appeared in fucking The Clone Wars is sick. I'd
00:24:37 --> 00:24:39 love to have a series with him and Ventress.
00:24:39 --> 00:24:41 It would be amazing. He was definitely in at
00:24:41 --> 00:24:43 least a comic. I feel like there was mention
00:24:43 --> 00:24:45 of him, but there wasn't much into his character.
00:24:45 --> 00:24:48 Because I think I remember Obi -Wan talking about
00:24:48 --> 00:24:51 having some mission with him, and he didn't see
00:24:51 --> 00:24:55 eye to eye with Quinlan or something. There's
00:24:55 --> 00:24:57 a good amount of content on him from Legends.
00:24:57 --> 00:25:01 It's mostly comics, but I mean... He's still
00:25:01 --> 00:25:03 a cool character, too. Yeah, it's mostly comics,
00:25:03 --> 00:25:05 but I mean, it's a lot about like... Oh, and
00:25:05 --> 00:25:08 he was in the official Star Wars fact things,
00:25:08 --> 00:25:11 so I mean... Ultimate Visual Guide. Yeah, he's
00:25:11 --> 00:25:14 Legends too. I got some more obscure picks too
00:25:14 --> 00:25:16 that are like... I was about to throw out one
00:25:16 --> 00:25:19 of my obscure picks. Go. My favorite Twi 'lek,
00:25:19 --> 00:25:22 Darth Talon. I mean, Darth Talon was pretty strong.
00:25:22 --> 00:25:24 Her fucking lightsaber's sick. I don't know much
00:25:24 --> 00:25:28 about her, I'm not gonna lie. She's the... She's
00:25:28 --> 00:25:30 the Onesith, right? She's one of the hands of
00:25:30 --> 00:25:33 Krayt. And Krayt was the leader of the Onesith.
00:25:33 --> 00:25:37 Yeah, Onesith. And they got taken out by Cade.
00:25:37 --> 00:25:39 her her saber should be the next one you get
00:25:39 --> 00:25:42 nikita death stick skywalker oh you know who
00:25:42 --> 00:25:44 else we kind of forgot they're a canon character
00:25:44 --> 00:25:47 only but phasma i think phasma is a great example
00:25:47 --> 00:25:49 of a powerful i mean like who else got fucking
00:25:49 --> 00:25:52 chrome stormtrooper armor and she got some books
00:25:52 --> 00:25:54 and stuff too and apparently the books were really
00:25:54 --> 00:25:57 good her like her resolution of her character
00:25:57 --> 00:25:59 arc was maybe you know disappointing for some
00:25:59 --> 00:26:01 but like absolutely i mean you got to be powerful
00:26:01 --> 00:26:03 to get up that high in the freaking imperial
00:26:03 --> 00:26:07 ladder i mean as a woman yeah it wasn't too many
00:26:07 --> 00:26:09 female stormtroopers oh speaking about females
00:26:09 --> 00:26:12 in the empire admiral dolla i mean dolla does
00:26:12 --> 00:26:15 become the leader of uh the republic right at
00:26:15 --> 00:26:17 one point yep yep she becomes chief of state
00:26:17 --> 00:26:20 during uh during abeloth actually yeah we got
00:26:20 --> 00:26:25 jaina solo oh yeah The Sword of the Jedi? Bro,
00:26:25 --> 00:26:28 I want to read that fan -made one. The trilogy
00:26:28 --> 00:26:30 for The Sword of the Jedi. So bad. You gotta
00:26:30 --> 00:26:34 read the fan -made one for the fate of the Nulls
00:26:34 --> 00:26:37 and everyone. Yeah, I do. I keep putting it out.
00:26:37 --> 00:26:39 I've really been diving into canon. I fucking
00:26:39 --> 00:26:42 love canon. One of the characters that I'm also
00:26:42 --> 00:26:44 going to mention... for my obscure pick is this
00:26:44 --> 00:26:47 character called, um, Avar Kris. Um, she's the,
00:26:47 --> 00:26:51 uh, she's the marshal for Starlight Beacon. She's
00:26:51 --> 00:26:53 a master. And for those of you who don't know,
00:26:53 --> 00:26:55 Starlight Beacon is a space Titanic. Like the,
00:26:55 --> 00:26:57 the canon timeline has a space Titanic. I fucking
00:26:57 --> 00:27:01 love it. But Avar Kris, like she, um, the start
00:27:01 --> 00:27:04 of the. High Republic series starts off with
00:27:04 --> 00:27:06 what's called the Great Hyperspace Disaster,
00:27:06 --> 00:27:09 which is basically the Nihil fucks up a ship
00:27:09 --> 00:27:11 in hyperspace and it shoots across the galaxy.
00:27:11 --> 00:27:13 The debris shoots across the galaxy at light
00:27:13 --> 00:27:16 speed, like blowing up, nuking planets and space
00:27:16 --> 00:27:19 stations and shit. And she's basically the reason
00:27:19 --> 00:27:21 why they're able to stop the crisis because they're
00:27:21 --> 00:27:24 able to pull. A flying piece of debris with hundreds
00:27:24 --> 00:27:27 of people in it out of, like, going near light
00:27:27 --> 00:27:30 speed from crashing into a planet and murdering
00:27:30 --> 00:27:32 the planet and the people. Like, that's pretty
00:27:32 --> 00:27:35 powerful. They're pretty powerful. Another obscure
00:27:35 --> 00:27:37 pick that I got is Tala Durith from the Obi -Wan
00:27:37 --> 00:27:39 Kenobi series. I'm surprised you didn't bring
00:27:39 --> 00:27:42 up Aurra Sing. I mean, I feel like there's just
00:27:42 --> 00:27:44 better options than Aurra Sing. Like, I don't
00:27:44 --> 00:27:46 doubt that she's not powerful, but she doesn't
00:27:46 --> 00:27:48 come to mind when I think of powerful women in
00:27:48 --> 00:27:52 Star Wars. What's the light whip lady? Renestra?
00:27:53 --> 00:27:56 Renestra Rowe. Yeah, she's pretty badass. There's
00:27:56 --> 00:27:59 this other character from the High Republic.
00:27:59 --> 00:28:02 I can't remember. If you tell me what story she's
00:28:02 --> 00:28:05 in, I probably can. But yeah, I like... I mentioned
00:28:05 --> 00:28:08 Tala Durith. I just like her story because of
00:28:08 --> 00:28:11 the fact that she was in, you know, a rebel implant
00:28:11 --> 00:28:14 in the Empire and she basically helps Obi -Wan
00:28:14 --> 00:28:16 Kenobi fucking thwart Vader at the cost of her
00:28:16 --> 00:28:19 life, too. No sacrifice more admirable. What
00:28:19 --> 00:28:21 about Yaddle? Oh, shit, fuck, I forgot about
00:28:21 --> 00:28:23 Yaddle. And I forgot about Saba also, my favorite
00:28:23 --> 00:28:25 character from the Legends timeline. Saba's a
00:28:25 --> 00:28:28 badass. Yaddle was a badass. Both timelines,
00:28:29 --> 00:28:31 Yaddle went out like a boss. Yeah, she almost
00:28:31 --> 00:28:34 thwarted fucking Phelps. And in Legends, I mean,
00:28:34 --> 00:28:37 she went out taking a nuke that was going to
00:28:37 --> 00:28:39 kill Anakin. She sacrificed herself to save the
00:28:39 --> 00:28:42 Chosen One by basically doing a reverse thought
00:28:42 --> 00:28:45 bomb. Reverse thought bomb. Nikita knows what
00:28:45 --> 00:28:46 I'm talking about. Oh, you don't know about Darth
00:28:46 --> 00:28:50 Bane, do you? Don't know much on him. In his
00:28:50 --> 00:28:53 origin story, the Sith basically nuked themselves
00:28:53 --> 00:28:54 back to the Stone Age with something called the
00:28:54 --> 00:28:57 Thought Bomb. He convinces them to create a...
00:28:57 --> 00:29:01 He watched or learned from Revan's holocron.
00:29:01 --> 00:29:05 And basically creates this like egg type thing
00:29:05 --> 00:29:08 that he convinces all the other Sith at the time
00:29:08 --> 00:29:12 to help him create and then activate. But the
00:29:12 --> 00:29:14 real purpose of the Thought Bomb was that it...
00:29:15 --> 00:29:19 traps the souls of any force like sensitive beings
00:29:19 --> 00:29:22 in a specific radius or whatever uh inside it
00:29:22 --> 00:29:25 forever so he manages to wipe out basically all
00:29:25 --> 00:29:28 the jedi and the sith in like one go that were
00:29:28 --> 00:29:32 on rusan and then he finds darth zanna on that
00:29:32 --> 00:29:34 planet as well a bit or you know orphaned and
00:29:34 --> 00:29:36 makes her kill a space puppy oh okay i figured
00:29:36 --> 00:29:41 out the uh one from higher public orla orla gerini
00:29:41 --> 00:29:46 i love yes Yeah, she's a waste seeker. Her fucking
00:29:46 --> 00:29:49 lightsaber is sick. It's like the hinged double
00:29:49 --> 00:29:52 blade, silver blade. It's fucking amazing. She's
00:29:52 --> 00:29:55 actually really fucking cool. So I accidentally
00:29:55 --> 00:29:58 read one book out of order after The High Republic.
00:29:58 --> 00:30:00 It's the Padawan book where Obi -Wan is a Padawan
00:30:00 --> 00:30:04 for Qui -Gon Jinn. And he finds her notes about
00:30:04 --> 00:30:06 a hidden planet and goes to discover it. And
00:30:06 --> 00:30:08 it's basically like the origin story for how
00:30:08 --> 00:30:12 Obi -Wan meets Dex in the canon timeline. It's
00:30:12 --> 00:30:14 really good. I fell in love with Ora Jurini.
00:30:14 --> 00:30:17 She dies to... this this beast called the leveler
00:30:17 --> 00:30:20 which literally sucks the force out of a person
00:30:20 --> 00:30:23 and turns him into like a ashen husk and she
00:30:23 --> 00:30:26 she she meets that fate but she's she's a really
00:30:26 --> 00:30:29 cool uh way seeker she helps elzar man see his
00:30:29 --> 00:30:31 way from the dark side after he starts to slip
00:30:31 --> 00:30:33 i love orla oh yeah i'm so glad you mentioned
00:30:33 --> 00:30:36 her I think the... We do have Bo -Katan. We kind
00:30:36 --> 00:30:38 of tangentially mentioned her, but, I mean, Bo
00:30:38 --> 00:30:42 -Katan was hella badass. Oh, yeah. Fucking rebuilt
00:30:42 --> 00:30:44 the Mandalorians, like, what, four times? Yep.
00:30:44 --> 00:30:47 Rebuilt them from the ground up. Had plenty of
00:30:47 --> 00:30:49 character development. Goes from being, you know,
00:30:49 --> 00:30:53 Death Watch to Mandalore to Outcast to Mandalore.
00:30:54 --> 00:30:55 I'm trying to think of this character's name,
00:30:55 --> 00:31:00 and she's from... The game. She's from Jedi Survivor.
00:31:00 --> 00:31:05 She's also in the first one, too. Sarah... Fuck.
00:31:06 --> 00:31:08 She got the thyroid problem with them big -ass
00:31:08 --> 00:31:11 eyes. What? Sarah Junda. Is that her name? The
00:31:11 --> 00:31:13 black lady with short hair? Yeah, the one that
00:31:13 --> 00:31:14 went toe -to -toe with Vader for like a couple
00:31:14 --> 00:31:17 seconds. Yeah, she got a thyroid problem with
00:31:17 --> 00:31:18 them big -ass eyes. They're like gonna pop out
00:31:18 --> 00:31:21 of her skull, but she a bad bitch. Yeah, she
00:31:21 --> 00:31:23 mentored Cal Kestis. Speaking of Jedi survivor,
00:31:24 --> 00:31:26 Maren was pretty badass. She was the next sister,
00:31:26 --> 00:31:29 right? Yeah, one of the Dathomirian force users.
00:31:29 --> 00:31:33 That survived Grievous culling of the Nightsisters.
00:31:33 --> 00:31:37 You know who we forgot? Tennel Kaa. Tennel Kaa.
00:31:37 --> 00:31:40 Wife to Jason Solo. Fucking love me some Tennel
00:31:40 --> 00:31:42 Kaa. And I also feel like the third sister has
00:31:42 --> 00:31:45 to kind of be mentioned. Riva, Reva, whatever
00:31:45 --> 00:31:48 her name was, from Obi -Wan Kenobi. I feel like
00:31:48 --> 00:31:50 she was annoying, but... I mean, I think that
00:31:50 --> 00:31:53 she, she, she definitely like used her station
00:31:53 --> 00:31:55 to her advantage or what she thought was her
00:31:55 --> 00:31:57 advantage. And then she got dog walked by Vader
00:31:57 --> 00:32:00 and somehow made it to Tatooine after, which
00:32:00 --> 00:32:02 I still don't understand. And also like, I mean,
00:32:02 --> 00:32:04 Barriss. Barriss is pretty cool. Her arc was
00:32:04 --> 00:32:07 cool. Luminara. Oh, yeah, Luminara. Aayla Secura.
00:32:07 --> 00:32:11 Aayla Secura, yeah. Shaak Ti. Shaak Ti. How the
00:32:11 --> 00:32:13 fuck can we forget about Shaak Ti? Bro, she was
00:32:13 --> 00:32:16 so cool in the... She was also another one that
00:32:16 --> 00:32:18 was a lot cooler in the micro series. She was
00:32:18 --> 00:32:23 very cool in the Force Unleashed game. Oh, yeah,
00:32:23 --> 00:32:24 because she was the one that was on Felucia,
00:32:24 --> 00:32:28 right? Yeah, and she was just bandaged up. I
00:32:28 --> 00:32:32 wish that was her canon death. That would have
00:32:32 --> 00:32:35 been sick. I feel about like her having have
00:32:35 --> 00:32:38 kind of fallen a bit and steeped into the dark
00:32:38 --> 00:32:40 side. I guess I can kind of see how it's justified,
00:32:41 --> 00:32:43 but that was always the part that got me. I was
00:32:43 --> 00:32:45 like, damn, a Jedi really fell. It just seemed
00:32:45 --> 00:32:47 kind of out of character for Shakti. Yeah. There's
00:32:47 --> 00:32:51 got to be more like Fennec Shand. Fennec Shand.
00:32:51 --> 00:32:54 Absolutely Fennec Shand. Fucking got her guts
00:32:54 --> 00:32:57 blown out. Still fucking up everything with their
00:32:57 --> 00:33:00 marksmanship. Ended up as Boba Fett's right hand.
00:33:01 --> 00:33:02 For the scene where she takes out the pikes,
00:33:03 --> 00:33:06 that was sick. I will say that show did kind
00:33:06 --> 00:33:08 of flop, but Finnick taking out the pipes in
00:33:08 --> 00:33:11 that meeting. That was dope. Oh, oh, oh, oh,
00:33:11 --> 00:33:14 oh, I got one. I got one. I got one. I got one.
00:33:14 --> 00:33:17 And I would still drag my nuts through anything
00:33:17 --> 00:33:23 for her. But Kira, Amelia Clark. Yeah. Powerful.
00:33:23 --> 00:33:26 Yeah. Step on me. I hope we get more because
00:33:26 --> 00:33:28 we're getting a mall show. Right. So or a mall.
00:33:29 --> 00:33:31 thing so i mean yeah i hope we get more kira
00:33:31 --> 00:33:35 content we did get kira content in jedi uh or
00:33:35 --> 00:33:38 not jedi uh star wars like outcast outlaws sorry
00:33:38 --> 00:33:41 outlaws jesus star wars outlaws the smuggler
00:33:41 --> 00:33:43 bounty hunter game that flopped very hard dude
00:33:43 --> 00:33:45 that game was so good like people are just they
00:33:45 --> 00:33:49 just acolyted it I didn't enjoy it. I never tried
00:33:49 --> 00:33:50 it, but I wanted to. I like Assassin's Creed
00:33:50 --> 00:33:52 style games, so I think I would have liked it.
00:33:52 --> 00:33:53 Like a lot of the complaints people had, they
00:33:53 --> 00:33:56 fixed pretty quickly. So, I mean, they were listening
00:33:56 --> 00:33:59 to player feedback and fixing the shit that people
00:33:59 --> 00:34:02 were like, hey, this isn't the best. Most studios
00:34:02 --> 00:34:03 don't do that. They're just like, suck it up,
00:34:03 --> 00:34:06 play the game. Give me your $60. I think EA needs
00:34:06 --> 00:34:08 to give up the rights to Star Wars. Their license
00:34:08 --> 00:34:10 already ended, I think, didn't it? Yeah, I think
00:34:10 --> 00:34:12 so. That's why the Xero company is a different
00:34:12 --> 00:34:17 producer. Yeah, it ended in 2023. I got another
00:34:17 --> 00:34:22 obscure one from The Mandalorian. The Frog Mom.
00:34:22 --> 00:34:24 I feel like you got to be powerful to know that
00:34:24 --> 00:34:29 little baby has ate your children's eggs or your
00:34:29 --> 00:34:32 own eggs that contain your children and still
00:34:32 --> 00:34:34 be okay with it. No, I love Frog Mom. She's so
00:34:34 --> 00:34:36 cute. She was cute. I don't think she's okay
00:34:36 --> 00:34:38 with it, but like... She's able to go on. She's
00:34:38 --> 00:34:41 able to persevere. That's power. I got another
00:34:41 --> 00:34:44 one on the left field. Fucking Maz Kanata. Who?
00:34:44 --> 00:34:47 Maz. Yeah. Oh, is that the bitch with the big
00:34:47 --> 00:34:52 glasses? Yeah. I forgot that was a woman. Jesus.
00:34:52 --> 00:34:55 AT looking ass. Just orange AT. Fucking holding
00:34:55 --> 00:34:58 on to fucking Anakin's lightsaber. I mean, you
00:34:58 --> 00:35:01 gotta be pretty powerful for Luke to trust you
00:35:01 --> 00:35:04 with that, right? Yeah. Okay, I got another one.
00:35:04 --> 00:35:07 Because this is a technical one. Jabba the Hutt
00:35:07 --> 00:35:11 as a powerful woman. fuck up with your shut up
00:35:11 --> 00:35:15 huts can change i know hermaphroditic and yeah
00:35:15 --> 00:35:19 no job of the hut is a powerful woman if anything
00:35:19 --> 00:35:22 zero is closer to a woman than job is well technically
00:35:22 --> 00:35:24 durga actually does go through the swap but like
00:35:24 --> 00:35:28 job of the hut is it has the the the capability
00:35:28 --> 00:35:31 and it has probably been a powerful woman i'm
00:35:31 --> 00:35:33 standing by this you just want you can stand
00:35:33 --> 00:35:38 alone I will die on this hill by myself. I don't
00:35:38 --> 00:35:40 care. Powerful woman, Jabba the Hutt. Name another
00:35:40 --> 00:35:43 woman whose titties can do what Jabba's do. That
00:35:43 --> 00:35:48 cow thing that Luke was milking? Oh, no. Oh,
00:35:48 --> 00:35:55 no. Okay, I quit. You win. Bro, I guess getting
00:35:55 --> 00:35:58 milked on screen does take some power. Oh, dude.
00:36:00 --> 00:36:04 Now I'm thinking about Milk Mommy. Again, this
00:36:04 --> 00:36:06 isn't the first time. I think that's about everyone,
00:36:06 --> 00:36:08 though, that I can think of off the top of my
00:36:08 --> 00:36:10 head. Yeah, I was going to say, like, I'm sure
00:36:10 --> 00:36:13 we're missing plenty. There's just so many, like,
00:36:13 --> 00:36:15 cool women characters in Star Wars. Basically,
00:36:15 --> 00:36:18 all the women that we see in Andor, I feel like
00:36:18 --> 00:36:21 deserve an honorable mention. Vel, for sure.
00:36:21 --> 00:36:26 Vel, Cinta, Bix, I mean. Bix, yeah. Craya. Bix
00:36:26 --> 00:36:28 took one for the team. Oh, absolutely, Kleia.
00:36:28 --> 00:36:31 Oh, Kleia. I'm thinking of Darth Kreia. Oops.
00:36:31 --> 00:36:34 Darth Kreia also. Oh, Vice Admiral Holdo. Oh,
00:36:34 --> 00:36:38 yep. The Holdo Maneuver. The Holdo Maneuver.
00:36:38 --> 00:36:40 Goated. How could we forget Holdo? I was fucking,
00:36:41 --> 00:36:42 I just like was blanking on her name. So I just
00:36:42 --> 00:36:47 looked up fucking Lightspeed Maneuver. And that's
00:36:47 --> 00:36:48 the first thing that came up. That was a fucking
00:36:48 --> 00:36:52 badass way to go out. Yeah, there's a lot of
00:36:52 --> 00:36:55 great, powerful women in all of Star Wars. I
00:36:55 --> 00:36:58 think, who is it? Rick James. It's a man's world,
00:36:58 --> 00:37:00 but it wouldn't be anything without a woman.
00:37:01 --> 00:37:04 It's true for every universe, honestly. The women
00:37:04 --> 00:37:07 make Star Wars great. I think if you were to
00:37:07 --> 00:37:09 have Star Wars without any of the women there,
00:37:09 --> 00:37:10 it wouldn't be the same story and it wouldn't
00:37:10 --> 00:37:13 be as good. I mean, without women in Star Wars,
00:37:13 --> 00:37:16 you wouldn't have Anakin because Shmi. Shmi.
00:37:16 --> 00:37:19 Oh, we forgot Shmi Skywalker, too. Oh, she was,
00:37:19 --> 00:37:21 I was, I was going to get there and then I got
00:37:21 --> 00:37:24 interrupted and then I forgot. It's okay. But
00:37:24 --> 00:37:27 I mean, yeah, I mean, Shmi is basically mother
00:37:27 --> 00:37:31 Mary, right? Yup. Endured the tortures of the
00:37:31 --> 00:37:34 Tuskens for as long as possible. Yeah, actually
00:37:34 --> 00:37:36 that, that doesn't get enough. She survived for,
00:37:36 --> 00:37:38 well, it was like, it was like a month or two,
00:37:38 --> 00:37:42 right? It was a while. Wait, I thought the guy
00:37:42 --> 00:37:44 had said it was like a week or something. I thought
00:37:44 --> 00:37:46 Owen said she had been gone for a while and they
00:37:46 --> 00:37:48 had just given up at some point. How the fuck
00:37:48 --> 00:37:52 do you spell her name? S -H -M -I. Several weeks.
00:37:52 --> 00:37:55 Not to be confused with Shmi from... Yeah, several
00:37:55 --> 00:37:57 weeks, yeah. It was definitely like a month or
00:37:57 --> 00:37:59 two. Yeah, it was definitely a month or two.
00:37:59 --> 00:38:01 That's impressive. Yeah, she held out, bro. Until
00:38:01 --> 00:38:05 Anakin came to kill all of the Tuskens, including
00:38:05 --> 00:38:07 the women and the children, too. They deserved
00:38:07 --> 00:38:10 it. That's all I'm gonna say. Can you give us
00:38:10 --> 00:38:17 your best Tuscan impression? close enough it's
00:38:17 --> 00:38:19 the mic peaking that makes it better i can't
00:38:19 --> 00:38:21 really think of any other ones i really think
00:38:21 --> 00:38:23 that's it honestly i'm trying to get off the
00:38:23 --> 00:38:25 top of my head yeah i'm trying to go through
00:38:25 --> 00:38:28 like as much stuff as i can like legends and
00:38:28 --> 00:38:31 canon both i think oh fucking what's what's um
00:38:31 --> 00:38:33 star killer's girlfriend fuck what's her name
00:38:33 --> 00:38:35 i was thinking about missing her but she doesn't
00:38:35 --> 00:38:38 really do anything that's that's great she tried
00:38:38 --> 00:38:42 to fucking glock vader Very unsuccessfully. I
00:38:42 --> 00:38:44 mean, but still. It was Eclipse. Juno Eclipse?
00:38:44 --> 00:38:46 Was that what it was? Juno, yeah. Juno, yeah.
00:38:47 --> 00:38:49 Yeah, I thought about it when we were mentioning
00:38:49 --> 00:38:52 Shaak Ti about saying, but I couldn't think of
00:38:52 --> 00:38:54 anything that she did that was actually, like,
00:38:54 --> 00:38:56 notable. Like, she was brave for sure, but was
00:38:56 --> 00:39:00 she powerful? I mean, strong. I mean, she still
00:39:00 --> 00:39:03 helped the Rebellion quite a bit. Yeah, but that
00:39:03 --> 00:39:06 makes her brave. What power play did she have
00:39:06 --> 00:39:08 that was instrumental in the Star Wars universe?
00:39:09 --> 00:39:12 see if i can find any piloted the rogue shadow
00:39:12 --> 00:39:15 she was a very successful imperial pilot she
00:39:15 --> 00:39:17 she was she was powerful adjacent i don't want
00:39:17 --> 00:39:20 to give her powerful she was she was she's i
00:39:20 --> 00:39:23 in her own right i think that's about that's
00:39:23 --> 00:39:25 about everything really she brought star killer
00:39:25 --> 00:39:28 back to the light side uh general rom coda did
00:39:28 --> 00:39:30 that i feel like she didn't bring him over to
00:39:30 --> 00:39:32 the light side she kept him tethered to reality
00:39:32 --> 00:39:36 and the anxiety of wondering if he was or wasn't
00:39:36 --> 00:39:38 a clone but yeah i think that's i think that
00:39:38 --> 00:39:40 about covered is it i ain't got anyone else i
00:39:40 --> 00:39:42 can't really think of anyone else all right win
