Force Facts - Racially Motivated

[00:00:03] Hey everyone and welcome to this week's Force Facts from my lexicon of facts about Star Wars and The Force.

[00:00:31] So this week, this one is a more of like a military kind of force fact, a rebel slash New Republic military force fact.

[00:00:39] Did you guys know that in Starship dogfighting the rogue squadron came up with specific terms for the Empire's like Starships,

[00:00:49] mostly the Thai series, the Thai bombers and the interceptors they would name them differently.

[00:00:56] They will call them eyeballs, squints and dupes.

[00:00:59] So the eyeballs were the standard, you know, Thai fighters that you see with the ball in the middle and the two solar panels.

[00:01:04] The squints are the interceptors, which are the ones that have like the like very they go to a thin point, the kind of a triangular wing.

[00:01:10] And then the dupes, the Thai bombers, that's what they call them dupes.

[00:01:14] So dupes, eyeballs and squints.

[00:01:16] I just thought that was like a nice little fun fact.

[00:01:18] I find that because I'm reading the X-Wing series right now.

[00:01:21] I'm about to finish book six and it's just nice to know that I because I never I never heard those terms used for Thai fighters and stuff until I until I started reading the X-Wing series.
