[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The most recent big fight we've seen in the Acolyte, the Stranger, the villain of

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_01]: the show pulls out a second lightsaber called a Shodo Saber.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And did you know that Shodo Sabers were used by Luke and his wife Mara Jade to fight against

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_01]: a dark force user named Lumaya in the Legends series?

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And they had to use these Shodo Sabers in conjunction with their normal Sabers in order

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_01]: to counteract her, get this, light whip that she used.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Which we have seen a light whip in the Acolyte show used by the character named Vernestra

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: and I have strong suspicion that he has specifically developed and trained with this

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Shodo Saber to counteract that specific light whip.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Cool thing, Shodo Sabers are made to counteract light whips.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That was one thing that I was super excited about seeing was the fact because I think

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: we had talked about this in the Luke episode like way back in season 1 when we were

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: talking about like, yeah, like him and Mara getting the Shodo Sabers to beat that bitch

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: ass.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And so like I was so excited but you know, like, poor, like small, small Acolyte spoilers,

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: poor Jackie got fucking stabbed three times in the chest with the fucking Shodo Saber.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: What I mean, that was the coolest fucking move and she went out like a badass so

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: like she did.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I think I like honestly outside of like Anakin Skywalker, definitely top three

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Padawans that I've ever seen.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Hell, yes, for sure.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That three hole punch was kind of brutal.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It was brutal but like I was screaming.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: When they went back to shoulder on the ground, I was like, oh, that's dark.

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, they had to make sure we knew that they were dead dead.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: There ain't no coming back from that one.

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: The Shodo Saber is just like outside of Ahsoka, we don't really see a lot

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: of Shodo action and I think it's cool that like that style and the whip itself

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: like are seeing, you know, like mainstream more mainstream content Star Wars wise.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Hell, yeah.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's been my force fact today.

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Just a cool little tidbit about Shodo Sabers and what the what Kameer was using in the

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: show and maybe a potential reason why he has it.
